Reservation/Deposit Information & Refund/Cancellation Policies:
Advertised Trips (Guided Kayak and Multi-Sport)
Deposits: 50% is required in order to hold your reservation.
Remaining balance is due 60 days prior to start date.
Cancellation Policy:
60 + days prior: full refund of deposit minus $35 fee per
person
59-45 days prior: 75% refund OR credit towards another trip
within 1 year of your cancellation date (subject to availability),
minus $35 fee per person
44-31 days prior: 50% refund OR 75% credit towards another
trip within 1 year of your cancellation date (subject to availability),
minus $35 fee per person
30 to 0 days prior: NO refund
Other: Up to 31 days prior to your trip departure date, if
you are not able to attend your reserved trip you may also opt to transfer
your registration to another person, minus a $35 processing fee. You
will then forfeit any refunds or credits on the trip.
Registering for a long multi-day trip within 7 days of its departure
may result in a late fee charge to cover additional set-up, communication,
priority mailing, etc.
Credit towards another trip will be offered only once. In the case
that credit is used towards another trip that is in turn cancelled due
to an insufficient minimum number of participants and/or dangerous weather
or water conditions, you will receive a full refund.
All trips have a minimum number of participants needed in order for
them to run. If a trip does not reach the minimum number of participants
and is cancelled you will be notified at least 30 days prior to your
scheduled start date and will receive a full refund. Please do not make
any travel arrangements until your trip has been confirmed! Adirondack
Exposure can not be held liable for any travel or flight arrangements
you have made for your trip.
Adirondack Exposure has the right to cancel a trip due to dangerous
weather and/or water conditions. If a trip is cancelled you will receive
a full refund.
Adirondack Exposure has the right to delay a trip or change the itinerary
due to dangerous weather and/or water conditions.
No refunds (partial or full) will be given if the participant leaves
a trip or tour early.
We highly recommend purchasing short-term travel insurance for our
more costly offerings and especially for our multi-day trips. This travel
insurance may offer you coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption
and delay, and baggage and airline ticket reimbursement. In the event
that you find it necessary to cancel due to personal or family emergency
or illness, such insurance may reimburse non-refundable costs.
