Black River Canoe & Kayak Rentals and Guided Trips

Our rentals give you the option of loading the boat on your vehicle to explore your own hidden spots, delivery to your location,
a Moose River Trip (where we bring you to the river and return later to pick you up), or a Black River Trip (leaving from the Edge Hotel).

Full day rentals are from 9am to 5pm.
Half-day rentals out of our Old Forge store are for any four-hour period.
Half-day rentals on the Black River (from the Edge Hotel) are from 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm.
Early drop-offs for fishing on the Black River can be arranged.

Rental Fees:
Royalex Tandem Canoes - $38/day, $26/half-day
Solo Recreational Kayaks - $28/day, $20/half-day
Solo Day Touring Kayaks - $38/day, $26/half-day
Tandem Recreational Kayaks - $38/day, $26/half-day
Local delivery and pick-up - $10

Black River Canoe & Kayak Rentals and Guided Trips:
Meet at the Edge Hotel (Rt. 12), RESERVATIONS REQUIRED (call 315-369-6699 or email info@adirondackexposure.com)
All rentals require a 50% non-refundable deposit
Canoes - $38/day, $26/half-day
Kayaks - $30/day, $22/half-day
Fishing Kayaks - $34/day, $26/half-day
Local Shuttle Fee - $10 for the first boat, $5 for each additional boat
Pick-up Late Fee - $25/each half-hour

Shuttle Fees:
Fourth Lake to Sixth Lake - $25
Seventh Lake and Eighth Lake - $35
Raquette Lake - $45
Blue Mountain Lake - $65
       Each additional boat for the above deliveries - $12/boat

Forked Lake - $90
Long Lake - $90
Tupper Lake - $130
Saranac Lake - $190
       Each additional boat for the above deliveries - $28/boat

Moose River Self-Guided Trip
If you're looking for something to do for a few hours, this is the trip for you! We'll load you up and take you and your boat to the river. From there you paddle downstream (about 45 minutes), take a break at a nice grassy spot, and then paddle back to your starting point, where we pick you up. The total trip is usually two to three hours, depending on your pace.

Moose River Self Guided Fees:
Royalex Tandem Canoe - $42
Solo Recreational Kayak - $32
Solo Day Touring Kayak - $42
Tandem Recreational Kayak - $42
        All above fees include shuttle to and from the river.
