Adirondack-based School

 

Our Adirondack-based School runs from May through October and offers both paddling courses (whitewater and flatwater kayak instruction, canoe instruction, and open water kayak instruction) and wilderness skills courses (wilderness first-aid, leave-no-trace training, and other wilderness skills). Most of our instruction is based around the Old Forge, NY area, with open water kayak instruction occuring on Lake Ontario in Pulaski, NY.

All of our paddling instructors are experienced ACA-certified instructors, and we keep our student to instructor ratio small. We offer both scheduled group classes as well as private and semi-private instruction. Group paddling classes can also be requested for custom dates.
