We design this tour to help you feel safe and comfortable with your fellow paddlers and hiking companions. We provide you with:
* basic paddling instruction and safety precautions with an ACA Certified Instructor
* quality paddling equipment
* a variety of day paddles and hikes led by a licensed Adirondack Guide
*Lodging with breakfast
* hearty lunches
Lodging - Choose from Inn lodging at Waters Edge Inn or camping cabins, tent or RV camping at the Old Forge Camping Resort (see rates below). All lodging includes breakfast.

of the participants.
Put-Ins - They are state ramps, docks and rustic entries
Paddles - include tours of lakes, streams and rivers
Kayaks / Canoes - We help each other load and unload single kayaks weighing approximately
60 pounds and canoes, weighing approximately 70 pounds.

so it may be colder than you are used to. We want you to be warm and comfortable so you
can enjoy your trip. Are you the type of person who becomes cold easily and has a low tolerance
for discomfort? Then play it safe. Bring a couple of pairs of “long johns”, multiple

Eco Multi-Sport Vacation
July 22-26, 2013
*for guests 55 and older
$425 per person
The Eco Multi-Sport Vacation is designed for the individual who no longer has a desire to sleep on the ground or to push themselves beyond their comfort. It is for the individual who wants to learn about the Adirondacks and visit it at a relaxed pace. The week includes a wildlife kayak/canoe tour, a historic kayak/canoe tour, two photo/birding/wildlife hikes and a free day to spend anyway you wish.
For our wildlife paddle tour we’ll get an early start with hopes to see the “natural residents” of the Adirondacks before they head to bed for the day. We will see all sorts of waterfowl and wading birds and have the opportunity to see deer, beaver, otters and more. During the historic kayak tour of one of the local lakes you’ll learn about how the rich and famous used to travel the waterways and see some of the magnificent “camps” that they built. You’ll also learn about the logging history and the original Adirondack Guides that worked on these waters. The photo/birding/wildlife hikes will take us to a wilderness pond in time for the “magic light” of morning on the first. The second hike will take us through wetlands, upland and coniferous forest in search of the different species that inhabit the area. You’ll want to bring along binoculars if you have them. On the free day you’ll be able to relax or explore wherever you would like. Activities available include visits to the Adirondack Museum or Sagamore Lodge, horseback riding or just reading by the lake.
Lodging for your vacation will be your choice so that you can choose what best suits your needs. The area offers everything from hotels and motels to Bed and Breakfasts and cabin rentals.
Included in the cost of the trip is all necessary equipment, daily lunches, daily transportation to and from our base and a licensed guide. You are responsible for your own lodging and transportation to and from our base.
Registration and Cost - $425 per person includes equipment, 4 lunches, licensed guide, paddlesports instructor, and daily transportation from Adirondack Exposure.
Maximum number of participants: 6
